Lucky to be born in Vancouver, Canada and blessed to live my childhood in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Upon returning to Canada I had the great experience of being a nanny for 3 children for 4 years, who inspired me to study for a preschool educator, it also gave me the opportunity to know what it means to be a nanny.

I studied as an educator and discovered that with children I could do everything I liked. I have studied many topics related to them for years, and I can honestly say that my best teacher is my 10-year-old son Balam.

When I became a mother I could understand all areas of infant development, I have been exploring different forms of teaching with him, I learn new things every day and he inspires me not only to be the best teacher but to be the best mother he could have.

I have dedicated more than 20 years to child care as a babysitter in kindergartens, preschools, community centers, baby programs, and now as a director at Creative Cha Cha Cha and Nannies Cha Cha Cha. All this experience has helped me to have more empathy with parents, nannies, teachers and children, and it also helps me to identify their needs, to know what they really need.

If my child is in the care of a babysitter, what I most desire as a mother is that she is safe, that she feels happy and at the same time that she learns and practices Spanish, and I can assure that each father wants the same as me. When I worked as a nanny, I wanted to feel comfortable with the family, have fun and help the children, who They would appreciate my work, and I even liked to feel like a family member.

As a teacher I like being able to develop and put into practice my knowledge in the classroom and as a child in school, I wanted to feel protected and to play with me. My four life experiences helped me create Nannies Cha Cha Cha, always having as a priority the happy development of a child.

I am originally from Sonora, Mexico. I come from a large family where taking care of children and being in contact with them was very common, my favorite part was always to make them laugh.

In 2006 I had the opportunity to be in Canada as a nanny and thanks to that I understood how wonderful and creative these little human beings can be if you guide them correctly.

As the mother of a small child, and with two teenage stepchildren, I realize how complicated it can be to find nannies ready to support you in your home. The same happens to many working fathers and moms, for whom it is vital to work knowing that their children are in the hands of people prepared to care for them and meet their needs.

As a photographer, I consider myself a storyteller. I love to narrate documenting the life and stories of my clients and their families.

Today I am part of this wonderful project and I have to tell the story of Nannies Cha Cha Cha.

I am Venezuelan, mother of two boys, lover of crafts, and in my country I was a teacher for 23 years. Since I arrived in Canada I prepared in Nannies Cha Cha Cha, and I have worked as a nanny, an experience that has been beautiful and enriching, because the children are super fun, spontaneous and learn very easily.

They love to explore their environment, play and this is how they discover their potential. Each child is a unique being and as such must be treated, respected, heard and valued. The job of the parents and the nanny is for the child to grow up in a safe and happy environment. I have always thanked, and will continue to do, Nannies Cha Cha Cha for the support and opportunities she has given me.
